The weather is really nice today, I figured I'd go shopping for food first and then for a walk, but after food shopping I decided to cook some food right away and got hot oil on my hand, so now I don't feel like going anywhere, I just feel like holding my hand in cold water >_< Funny thing is, one can barely see anything on the hand, just some reddish spots, but they feel like they are burning all the time >_< No idea what to do about that, I never had oil burns before... But at least I cooked a really tasty meat sauce XD
I bought me tickets to Latvia for 10.06 (coming back on 23.06), so if anyone will be in Riga during that time, although that is not very likely, I know, we can always meet up :D Obviously I'm not thrilled about spending my vacation there, two weeks with my relatives is not my idea of a good time, but oh well, one has to do the right thing and visit the elderly. I expect I will still have access to internet, so no worries, I am not abandoning you all XDD
I have been reading Yu Yu Hakusho lately, and it occurred to me that it really doesn't have all that many arcs for a comparatively long manga - the largest arc was like 80 chapters long, it seems a bit too much for just one arc... And I wish there was more information about the villains - like what their motivations are and such.
Also, is it just me, or are there really many creepy yaoi vibes in this series? XD Karasu badtouching Kurama, for example, and the whole sick and twisted relationship between Sensui and Itsuki... It's not even yaoi fanservice, it's fan disservice, I feel kind of sorry for Sensui :(
On a completely different note, I collected some songs with the theme 'Space' (lol, idk why, I just suddenly got thinking about astronomy, so I went through my music folder looking for songs about it), and if you want to hear them, you can get them here.
And I don’t feel motivated to post because there are so few people around, LJ is really quiet lately. But anyhow, I will do my best to post more – it’s only quiet because people are lazy, if everyone posted more often, it wouldn’t be like that XD
So, since I lack anything more substantial to say, here are a couple of pictures from the Harbour Birthday – it’s a sort of annual festival thing with big ships, food booths, amusements and fireworks. It was really cold this time so I didn’t stay to watch the fireworks, and it was getting dark so I didn’t take too many photos, so there are just a couple of ship pics and harbor buildings.

I had actually forgotten all about the outcome of the game, it's been ages since I read the manga. So poor Kise-kun's shocked sad face totally broke my heart. Poor woobie, I want to hug him! It's actually rare for me that I support the opposite team, not the main character's team, but Kise is such a darling, it was so sad to see his team lose T___T
But Hyuuga was absolutely hilarious, the way he said all those things with such a friendly smile XDD
In other news, I wrote a Prince of Tennis fic (Fuji x Tezuka, PG, word count 1882), which you can read here, if you are interested.

It was the first time I was at the North Sea seaside in Germany, and it's somewhat different from our Baltic Sea - for one thing, it has tides XD When my relative's husband said we need to check the tide times before going there, or there might not be any water, I was really surprised, I had no idea tides work like that XDD There is always water at the Baltic seaside XD
Anyways, my relatives are absolutely lovely people, I really wish I had met them earlier, my personality could be different, they are such a good influence... I could tell you lots about them, but it's silly to fangirl over my own relatives XD I had a great time, and not even the fact that due to train problems I got back home only at 1 AM spoiled this holiday for me.
